The Statistics Division of the Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries developed the National Food and Agricultural Statistics System (NFASS) to provide accurate, timely, consistent, disaggregated and accessible Agricultural sector data.
This data is made available to facilitate planning and decision making at all levels for, among others; the private sector (farmers, investors, and traders), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Government planning authorities; Research and training institutions (academia); and Development partners.
